IF SHIPMENT OF MERCHANDISE IS FOUND TO BE DAMAGED, IF POSSIBLE REFUSE THE SHIPMENT FROM THE COURIER, AND PLEASE CONTACT GREAT MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RECEIPT OF PACKAGE TO HAVE A CLAIM FILED WITH THE CARRIER. YOU MUST SAVE THE CARTONS AND PACKING MATERIAL UNTIL THE CLAIM IS RESOLVED.
DAMAGES, LOSS AND DELAYS: All goods are inspected upon arrival at our distribution center and again prior to shipping. We shall not be responsble for shortage, delays and/or merchandise arriving in damaged condition that is beyond our control. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect merchandise upon receipt and report any shortages and/or damages to us. Merchandise can be damaged in transit even though there is no outward evidence of rough handling (concealed damage). If goods are found damaged, refuse the shipment if possinble and please contact us at [email protected] or 707-882-2414. If shipment has been accepted from shipper, e-mail pictures of damage to [email protected] within 24 hours of receipt of package to have a claim filed with the carrier. You must save the cartons and packing material until the claim is resolved. In case of shortage, please inspect cases and accessories pockets. Shortages must be reported to Great Musical Instruments with 24 hours of receipt of order.
DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE: Great Musical Instruments warrants its instruments to be free of manufacturer defect for 1-year from the date of purchase. Warranty excludes accessories and cases. If merchandise is deemed defective, Great Musical Instruments will credit your account or make arrangements for product to be repaired or replaced. Return shipping costs will be pre-paid provided customers report defective merchandise within 15 days of receipt. Customers will be responsible for all shipping charges after 15 days of receipt. Exchange Merchandise Authorization (EMA) must be obtained and appear on all returned packages. The defect will be determined by manufacturer’s management and technicians. Please inspect all merchandise upon receipt.
REFUND POLICY: In the event items need to be returned for refund, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) must be obtained by contacting us at by e-mail at [email protected] or phone 707-882-2414 within 30 days of receipt. Please note that customers are responsible for return shipping costs (to our warehouse) when returning the merchandise unless pre-arranged by Great Musical Instruments.. Items must be returned in original packaging and condition for the full amount less shipping and handling charges and a 15% restocking fee. In addition, shipping and handling costs are not refundable. No exceptions. In the event merchandise is returned in any condition other than the original or beyond 30 days of receipt, Great Musical Instruments reserves the right to reject any of the refund requested our our sole discretion.
