Lamp House Music, a music school and rehearsal studios in Hospital Road, begins a new term of music lessons this week.
Organisers are encouraging anyone who received a musical instrument as a Christmas present, or those with a musical New Year resolution, to make a booking.
The term starts on Saturday, offering tuition to children and adults of all abilities on a wide range of instruments, including guitar, drums, vocals, ukulele, violin, piano, recorder and flute.
Roz Maguire, of Lamp House Music, said: “Now that the festivities are over, it’s a great time to get stuck in to learning a musical instrument.”
